Quotes

A quote request is not a booking. Flat-rate quotes are based on the inventory, access and dates you describe and on the photos or video walkthrough you send. A written flat rate is good for 30 days. If the inventory, access or date changes, the price may change, and we will tell you before we start.

Hourly work is billed from arrival at the first address to completion at the last, with a two-hour minimum and 15-minute increments after that.

Booking and cancellation

A move is booked when we confirm the date in writing. You can reschedule or cancel free of charge up to 48 hours before the arrival window. Inside 48 hours we may charge up to the two-hour minimum for the crew size booked.

What we will not move

Hazardous materials (fuel, propane, paint thinner, ammunition, fireworks), perishables, plants over long distances, live animals, and cash, jewelry or documents that should travel with you. Tell us about anything unusual so we can plan for it or decline it in advance.

Coverage and claims

Every move includes basic valuation coverage at $0.60 per pound per item, as required by California law. Full-value protection is available for purchase before move day. Note any damage on the crew lead's paperwork before the crew leaves, and send us a photo within 7 days. We resolve claims within 30 days.

We are not responsible for the contents of boxes we did not pack, for particleboard furniture that fails when moved, or for items you asked us to move against our advice.

Access and permits

You are responsible for elevator reservations, gate access and any HOA move-in requirements at both ends unless we agreed to handle them in your quote. Where the city requires a parking permit for the truck, we file it and pass through the city fee.

Payment

Payment is due on completion by card, check or bank transfer. Long-distance moves require a deposit at booking, stated in the quote. Balances unpaid after 15 days accrue 1.5 percent per month.

If you opt in, we send text messages about your quote and your move. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of booking.
