Employees. Every mover is on our payroll, background checked, and trained in our Costa Mesa yard before they touch a customer's sofa. No subcontracted crews, no strangers from an app.

Yes. With any move we drop off boxes, tape and paper a few days ahead at no charge and pick up the empties after. Wardrobe boxes are on loan for move day so closets move on their hangers.

Included within 150 feet of the truck. We reserve elevators with your building and bring floor and door protection. Extreme carries, like Laguna hillside streets with no truck access, are priced in the quote up front, never sprung on move day.

Yes. Orange Crate is a licensed California household goods mover with cargo and liability insurance. Basic valuation coverage at $0.60 per pound is included in every move, and full-value protection is available for a small added cost.

A week is comfortable for a weekday. Saturdays and the last few days of any month fill about two weeks out. Same-week moves are often possible, so ask.

Tell the crew lead before they leave so it is on the paperwork, then text us a photo. We repair or pay out under the coverage you chose, usually within a week. It is rare, and we would rather fix it than argue about it.

Not as a rule. Our crews work Monday through Saturday, 7am to 7pm. If a Sunday is the only day that works, ask and we will try to make it happen.
